Abys Yachting, a mixology experience for Pershing's 40th anniversary at Palm Beach Cannes

On 11 September 2025, So Barman supported Abys Yachting at Palm Beach Cannes for Pershing's 40th anniversary, with a premium cocktail menu, mixology service and bar show designed for the yachting world.

A signature bar for a brand anniversary in the yachting world

For Pershing's 40th anniversary, the bar could not be limited to a classic cocktail service. It had to carry a premium, readable and spectacular experience, able to dialogue with the image of Abys Yachting, Pershing and Palm Beach Cannes. This case study shows how an event bar animation can combine service precision, signature cocktails and bar show without losing the elegance of the moment.

1. The context

Client: Abys Yachting
Event: Pershing brand 40th anniversary
Venue: Palm Beach Cannes
Date: Thursday 11 September 2025
Format: Mixology animation and bar show
Expected volume: 100 guests, based on 4 cocktails per guest
Service duration: 4 effective hours

2. The setup deployed

The setup relied on a compact expert team: Thomas, bar manager, mixologist and flair bartender, supported by a mixologist bartender. The objective was to guarantee optimal fluidity over four effective hours of service, while still giving guests time to be guided in their cocktail choices.

So Barman handled the ingredients, spirits, fresh fruits, juices, syrups, liqueurs, flavour pearls, ice, glassware, mobile bar and professional equipment. The client therefore benefited from a complete format, ready to integrate into a premium event without adding weight to the organisation.

3. A cocktail menu designed for Pershing

The menu was built around a clear universe: Yachting, the Mediterranean, and the Pershing, Ferretti and Abys brands. It included named, easy-to-read creations such as Smokey Pershing Lavander, Ferretti Intense, Blue Abys, Lavandin and Mule de Provence.

Each recipe keeps a base guests can understand, while bringing a signature: Passion fruit, lime, vanilla, peach, Curacao, red fruits, lavender, ginger beer, rosemary or flavour pearls. The expected result is not a complicated menu, but a premium reading of revisited classics.

4. The bar show as added value

The service included a spectacular dimension, with flair bartending throughout the service and a bartender show. The show never comes at the expense of taste: It reinforces attention around the bar, creates rhythm and supports the atmosphere of the event.

The molecular options add a second layer to the experience: flavour pearls, smoked cocktails under a cloche and smokey bubble cocktails. In a context such as Palm Beach Cannes, these gestures elevate the tasting without falling into gratuitous effect.

5. Strong coherence with the venue and the brand

Palm Beach Cannes calls for a service that is elegant, precise and visual, but always controlled. For Abys Yachting and Pershing's anniversary, the challenge was to propose a bar that felt premium, fluid and memorable, in line with a brand universe built around design, performance and the art of hosting.

This logic matches events where the cocktail becomes a genuine image asset. It is not only about serving a drink, but about building an experience that supports the setting, the audience and the expected level of excellence.

6. What this case study reveals

This case shows So Barman’s ability to adapt an event bar service to a highly coded universe. The cocktail writing, the choice of gestures, the presence of flair bartending and the molecular touches all serve the same objective: To make the bar visible, elegant and perfectly integrated into the event.

For a brand anniversary such as Pershing’s, the bar becomes a meeting point, a show moment and a marker of attention. This is exactly where So Barman’s expertise makes sense: you enjoy the moment, we orchestrate the rest.
